NEW HOME. NEW ERA. SAME MONSTERS — TWIN CITIES, 2027
Minnesota Monsters Thank Duluth Community and Announce Move to the Twin Cities
The Minnesota Monsters announced today that the organization will relocate from Duluth to the Twin Cities. The move begins a new chapter for the Monsters while concluding a meaningful period in a community that played an important role in the team’s development.
Minnesota Monsters Owner Jacob Lambert expressed his appreciation to the fans, business partners, players, coaches, staff members, volunteers, and community leaders who supported the organization during its time in Duluth.
“Duluth welcomed the Minnesota Monsters and gave our organization an opportunity to grow. I want to personally thank everyone who attended our games, supported our players, partnered with our organization, and believed in what we were working to build. The relationships and memories we created in Duluth will always be an important part of the Monsters’ history.”
— Jacob Lambert, Owner
The decision to relocate was made following an extensive evaluation of the organization’s long-term opportunities. Moving to the Twin Cities will provide the Monsters with access to a larger regional market, expanded corporate partnership opportunities, a broader fan base, and additional resources to support the team’s future growth.
“This was not an easy decision, and it does not diminish the gratitude we have for Duluth. We believe the Twin Cities will give the Monsters the best opportunity to strengthen our organization, increase our visibility, and build a sustainable future. We are excited about what comes next, but we will never forget the people in Duluth who helped us reach this point.”
— Jacob Lambert, Owner
The Minnesota Monsters will release additional information regarding their Twin Cities home venue, upcoming season, ticket availability, sponsorship opportunities, and community events as those details are finalized.
The organization looks forward to introducing the Monsters to fans throughout the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area while continuing to recognize and appreciate the foundation established in Duluth.
